In The News: DHS Senior Chosen For Drum, Bugle Corps
Despite a handicap — playing with his left hand instead of his right — Matthew Miller still managed to impress the judges with his trumpet skills.
As a result, the Danville High School senior was selected to perform with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps of Dubuque, Iowa, this summer. About 350 young people from 33 states and overseas auditioned for one of the 150 positions.
