Italian Joins 2011 Glassmen

Francesco Villa from Besana Marching Band will be marching Glassmen this summer. He is going to be the third Italian to march DCI and the first member of the unit based in Besana Brianza, Italy.

Francesco has been a trumpet player since he was 12. His younger brother is also a brass player (trombone), while his older sister is a percussionist. They are all members of Besana Marching Band. “It is a dream coming true”, said Francesco. “I have always wanted to march DCI, and all the hard work finally paid off.”
