Velvet Knights Announce 2011 Color Guard Staff

The Velvet Knights Drum and Bugle Corps is proud to announce and welcome their 2011 Colorguard Staff for 2011…….

Randy Badillo – Caption Head

Randy comes to us with an extensive experience in the colorguard world. He has taught at very successful high school programs such as Schurr HS, Bell Gardens HS, Bell HS, Montebello HS, and many more, since 2003. He marched with The Glassmen Drum & Bugle Corps in 1997, Kingsmen Winterguard in 1995. He built the colorguard program at Pasadena City College since 2005. Randy’s drum corps experience includes Co-Caption Head for Gold Drum & Bugle corps 2006 to 2009, and City Sound Drum & Bugle corps in 2010. “VK has always had a “vary” and distinct way to their programs, making them unique to the drum corps activity. My creative staff and I hope to contribute and welcome the opportunity to work with such a great organization and it’s staff” VK welcomes Randy and his staff to their family of already world class staff.

Joining Randy this season, will also be Aldo Trevino, Anthony Rodriguez, and Laurence Gasparro.

Colorguard auditions will be held Saturday April 23, 2011.
