2011 Pioneer WGI Report

| |

The Pioneer had a great weekend of meeting new faces and seeing a few old ones at our booth at the WGI Winter Guard Championships in Dayton. Congratulations to all of the performers who participated during the weekend. Your hard work and dedication was very evident in all of the wonderful performances! A special thanks to our great bus driver, Eric Rogers, for helping out the Emanon color guard after their driver fell ill on Saturday evening.

We are still looking for several members in most sections to round out our corps for the 50th edition of the Pioneer. We are especially looking for brass players, tenor drummers and young ladies for the color guard, though there are spots open in other sections as well. We would like to invite you to join us for our next camp, April 29th through May 1st in Cudahy, Wisconsin. The corps offers free transportation to and from camp from Milwaukee’s General Mitchell and Chicago O’Hare airports. Audition materials and a camp RSVP are available from the links on the top of the page.
