Cavaliers Memorial Lunch

Since 1948, The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps has impacted thousands of individuals from all walks of life. The organization has lost many incredible alumni, volunteers and Honorary Cavaliers over the years, and with the help of alumnus Sam Geati (1955-1959), The Cavaliers will pay humble tribute to those who have passed away. “My hope is that we can gather to remember our Cavalier friends and family who enriched our lives so much,” said Geati.

The Cavaliers Memorial Lunch will be a sincere event with no solicitations – simply a gathering to commemorate Cavalier friends and family. An opening welcome/prayer will start the program of reading the names of all known deceased Cavalier Alumni, Honorary Cavaliers and volunteers. Memorial speakers will pay tribute to Warren Alm, Sal Ferrara, Erwin Korzinski, Chuck McCurdy and George O’Connor, followed by the playing of “Taps” and the singing of “Rainbow” and the Corps Song. The balance of the event will be spent reconnecting with friends, viewing past Cavalier productions, sharing stories and tentatively attending the evening block of The Cavaliers’ upcoming April Camp.
