Another frosty mug full of controversy adds to the reputation of government as a “nanny state.”
This time, the annual Great Lakes Brew Fest fundraiser is the target of bureaucratic baby-sitting. The Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps is considering a move out of Festival Park, in part because rules being applied there prevent the serving of home-brewed beer. The group has threatened to move it outside Racine County if necessary.
