In The News: Troopers Will Play At Civil War Exhibit Opening

Grizzled Jim Jones, the late founder of the Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps, would not believe in something like karma. Coincidence probably would be stretching it for him.

He did, however, believe in “Honor, Loyalty, Dedication,” the motto of his beloved corps then — and now.

On June 11, the Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps, dressed in 11th Ohio Cavalry replica uniforms, will perform at the opening celebration of the $4.3 million Civil War exhibit at Conner Prairie Interactive History Park in Fishers, Ind. This year marks is the 150th anniversary of start of the Civil War.
