July 6 DCI Event Moves To Jackson Liberty High School

What’s old is new again in the world of Youth Education in the Arts-sponsored drum corps shows as a change to the Grand Slam of Drum Corps line-up will move the July 6 Drum Corps: An American Tradition event from its originally announced location to Jackson Liberty High School in Jackson, N.J., site of a nearly sold-out YEA! event in 2009.

“While we were hopeful a resolution could come to a scheduling conflict at The College of New Jersey, ultimately external forces and the calendar forced us to make a decision to relocate the July 6 event to Jackson Liberty High School,” said Sean King, YEA! director of marketing. “The 2010 event at TCNJ was great for fans and performers alike, however we could not overcome issues on the campus for this summer. We hope to return again in future years, and look forward to working with the team at TCNJ again this fall at the USSBA Central New Jersey Regional.”
