Music City Legend Adds Visual Staff

Music City Legend Drum & Bugle Corps is pleased to announce that Chris Johnston and Andrew Gaskill, both of Clarksville, Tennessee, have accepted visual staff positions with the corps for the 2011 season. Mr. Johnston becomes Visual Caption Head and Mr. Gaskill the Visual Design Technician. The two have worked together in recent efforts with local high school music education programs and will collaborate in the design of MCL’s field visual program.

Johnston began his marching career with the Clarksville High School Band. After graduating, he went on to march with Memphis Sound Drum and Bugle Corps as a trumpet soloist in 2005. He then joined Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps (Rockford, Illinois) in 2006 and marched through the corps’ 2008 DCI World Championship season as a soloist and section leader.
