Teal Sound Alumni Helps In National Geographic Experiment

Rob Solomon graciously donated his Sunday to National Geographic, when he got a call from Lainey Drummond the Tour Director for Teal Sound. The Saint Augustine Alligator Farm was being visited by National Geographic for a four part series being aired sometime next year about alligators sound and sonic abilities in the water to communicate with other alligators. The team from National Geographic had an experiment they wanted perform with a rumor that these animals would respond to the low B Flat of a Tuba. Kevin Torregrosa Reptile Curator and Gerry Braazt reptile keeper for the Saint Augustine Alligator Farm called Lainey to see if there was a tuba player in the area to help with this experiment.
