2011 Cavaliers April Camp Update

On a near-perfect day in the Chicago area, members of the brass, percussion, and guard united in Rosemont, Illinois for the final camp before the 2011 corps moves in for the summer. Just before the three-day camp held April 29 – May 1, The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps announced its 2011 program, “XtraordinarY” to fans across the Cavalier Nation.

“Building on last year’s success and audience accessibility, the 2011 Cavaliers are aiming to entertain,” said Program Coordinator Scott Koter. “April camp was the first time the design team was back together, and this allowed us to get live reactions, discuss pacing and plan effects. With this input, changes can be quickly fleshed out before the corps hits Pre-Tour. Musically, visually, technically, aesthetically – the Green Machine will be taking serious steps forward in 2011.”
