Cavaliers Begin XtraordinarY Summer

On Friday, May 20, members, staff, management and volunteers of The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps gather in Lisle, Ill., for the start of 2011 season. First up is Pre-Tour consisting of approximately 29 days of intense every day rehearsals. This year, the season opener is in Saginaw, Texas, which means the corps will be traveling much more than usual during this training period. “While heading 1,000 miles to the first contest in Texas presents some unique logistical challenges, we have worked hard to make sure the next four weeks are as productive as possible,” said Tour Director Mark Ackerson. The tour schedule, which now includes all Pre-Tour locations, is the most accurate and up-to-date place to find The Cavaliers’ tour information.
