In The News: Local Alumni Drum Corps Performs In Rochester

The Western New York Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps motorcade made its way down Interstate 90 to Rochester on April 30 to perform in their first drum corps indoor stage show, sponsored by Mighty St. Joe’s Alumni Drum Corps. Also performing in the show were The Ghost Riders mini-corps, Prime Time Brass, United Alumni Senior Corps from Canada and the Greece Jazz Band.

Performing for a very large audience, the Alumni Corps, with its 19 brass, seven percussion players and five in the honor guard opened their performance with an upbeat number of “Ya Gotta Try,” followed by “Let It Be Me,” “Oye Como Va,” “Battle Hymn/Shenandoah” and their final number of “One More Time.”
