2011 Cavaliers June On the Road Update

As the Drum Corps International Tour starts to steamroll across the country, audiences stretching from Texas to Minnesota have enthusiastically voiced their overwhelming support for The Cavaliers 2011 production, ‘XtraordinarY.

After two rehearsal days at the University of Tennessee Martin (June 22-23), the Green Machine debuted its full ending at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. on Friday, June 24. “The crowd was pretty much outrageous,” said Assistant Drum Major Andrew Rhebergen. The DCI Central Indiana contest serves as the culminating event for Music For All’s Summer Symposium, with thousands of high school campers in attendance. “You can’t help but smile when the corps gets such wildly positive reactions throughout the entire performance. This show is not only a highlight of summer for us as performers, but also for all the young fans in the audience. It’s an experience that’s hard to top!”
