2011 DCI Austin Show Report

Last year’s top eight corps from the DCI World Championships were back in action Sunday, June 19, competing head to head in Austin, Texas as part of the opening weekend off the 2011 Drum Corps International Tour.

Mixing things up competitively, the participating corps performed in reverse order of last night’s event in Saginaw, Texas. That meant the Blue Devils stepped off as the first corps on at the 7:30 p.m. event start time, followed by the Cavaliers, Bluecoats and Carolina Crown. The Cadets, Phantom Regiment, Santa Clara Vanguard and Blue Stars performed after intermission.
