Academy Calls For Tour Volunteers

Friends,
You may have heard recently that we are short on volunteers for our tours as well as assistance during our week-long residency in Maricopa June 23-30. Our call for help with the last camp resulted in a strong response, and I’m hoping that this plea will encourage more new and past volunteers to consider joining us on the road!

As I often explain to the members, we like to travel with more volunteers than many corps. By doing so, we can better serve our members with fresh fruit, rather than canned fruit and more specialized meals rather than all pre-assembled meals, for example. It also helps to ease the burden of work on those people who are helping to make the tour run smoothly.
