The Kidsgrove Scouts will again field a large corps this year. The reigning British and European Champions will have their first competitive performance at Nottingham this weekend.

In 2010, the Kidsgrove Scouts organisation celebrated their 100 years anniversary, they embarked on a tour of the USA where they finished in 6th place at the DCA World Championship Finals, and earned the title of Internationals Champions. On their return home they were crowned British and European Drum Corps Champions.

This year, the corps will field 45 horns, 16 drums, 16 guard, 10 front ensemble and 1 drum major. “The corps has had a very strong winter and our really looking forward to 2011”, says corps director Rob Swindells. Click here for a preview of what is to come.
