Nashville’s Cicada Invasion

The presence of what seemed like billions of very vocal cicadas couldn’t deter the corps at the recent June camp. Drill was put to music for the first time, and the cicadas for the most part kept to themselves in the trees surrounding the practice field. The corps concluded the camp by leading the CMA Kick-Off Parade through downtown Nashville on June 8. It was the first performance in uniform for all of the Music City rookies.
