Raiders Third Decade Starts On High Note

The Raiders of Burlington County, NJ are starting their third decade on a new note. Along with their relocation to South Jersey and the biggest horn line in the corps history, their show, Blueccentric, shows a new, energized side of the corps. The 2011 show, which has a jazz feel, is a departure from the previous years and provides a fresh take on favorites like Blue Rondo a la Turk by Brubeck and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.

The corps has a solid work ethic and they continually push themselves to make each performance better than the last one. The weekend show in Old Bridge, NJ marked the Raiders’ 2011 premier DCI performance and was warmly received by the audience. Blueccentric is sure to be a fan favorite as the season progresses.
