2011 DCUK Grantham Contest Results

It was perfect weather to kick off the 2011 DCUK season (maybe even a little too warm!) as 12 Corps attended the Centro Drum Corps Contest held at South Kesteven Sports Stadium in Grantham, Lincolnshire sponsored by The Company.

There was a warm welcome to two news Corps for 2011, The 6th and Nexus, and a return to DCUK for Phantom Knights as the packed stand was superbly entertained all afternoon by the 3 Junior Class Corps and 9 Open Class Corps with Concord AllStars taking 1st Place in the Junior Class and Kidsgrove Scouts starting 2011 as they finished 2010 winning 1st Place in the Open Class.

In two weeks time we move slightly further north as we return to Victoria Park in Warrington where, one again, 12 Corps will be attending to give another exciting day of competition
