2011 DCUK Warrington Contest Results

| |

In complete contrast to 2 weeks ago, the weather really was not kind to us at the second DCUK contest of the 2011 season with most Corps having to contend with driving rain at the Poynton Commodores sponsored contest held at Victoria Park in Warrington.

The contest saw Clonmel Bluehawks travel across from Ireland, Revolution Show Corps compete in the first DCUK contest, Cheshire Cadets make their last performance before they re-brand and Kidsgrove Scouts take first place in both the Junior & Open Class.

Results below with the full scores and recaps available on our Results Page –http://www.dcuk.org.uk/contests/results.html.

Congratulations to all the Corps and thank you to the spectators that braved the weather to support the Corps.

As we now enter the summer “break” we have a few weeks for Corps to dry out and more importantly prepare for the run up to the British Championships which starts with the final contest of the year in Leicester on Sunday 4th September where 11 Corps (2 Junior Class and 9 Open Class) will be in attendance.
