Forte Needs CDL Driver For Semi Truck

Forte has purchased a gorgeous new trailer for the 2011 Summer tour. Our original driver is no longer available for tour, so we are looking to hire someone asap for July 18th-August 13th.

Driver

CDL required. Driver will drive sleeper cab and pull the corps 48′ Equipment Trailer. 90% of Driving is at night. 4-5 hours of driving per day, with about 15 days of driving over the one month hiring period (July 15 – August 15th). Truck Driver is needed for hauling trailer from midnight until 4am (2-4 hours of driving per night), and once in the afternoon (4pm or so with 20-30 minutes of driving). Driver is provided quiet sleeping area (or sleeper cab), and 4 meals per day. Preference will be given to drivers who own their own cab, but corps can rent a cab from Penske or other vendor. Drum Corps experience is ideal, but not required.
