Hot Day In Missouri Pays Off For Cadets
The Cadets rehearsed in blistering heat again yesterday in Kansas City, Mo. After the long drive from Rockford, Ill., the corps pulled in at 9:30 a.m., and the volunteers started right away on brunch. A lot of the members stayed up to get a jump on the day, but the official wake-up time was 11:15 a.m., and the day started at 12:15.
