In The News: Hundreds Of Students Take To Cajun Field For DCI Competition

Cajun Field was host to hundreds of students from across the nation competing in the 2011 Drum Corps International (DCI) Tour. It was not only a major night for music and performing arts, but a benefit to the UL Band.

For three months, dedicated teens and young adults spend their summers outside on football fields across America.

“We’re in the middle of what we call heat week, it’s a constant struggle but it’s a lot of fun,” said Steven Irving, the Colorguard Captain at the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps.
