In The News: Parade A First For Turkey Rama
Mike Quillen isn’t new to McMinnville’s big shebang. A member of the Frank Messina Big Band since 1990, he’s been playing the main stage on Third Street for about 20 years now.
This year, though, he found himself in a new Turkey Rama role – leading the Oregon Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps in Friday night’s parade, a new element in the venerable event.
