In The News: Troopers Play Through The Heat
This summer’s historic heat wave is affecting not just the old or out of shape.
The Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps awoke to 87 percent humidity at 8?a.m., on Monday in Lafayette, La.
“We’re really watching them. They’re hydrating and taking more breaks, eating much lighter, more salads and fresh things. They’re just not hungry in this weather,” said corps director Fred Morris from Lafayette.
