Vanguard Percussion Featured In Texas Bandmasters Clinic

The 2011 Vanguard battery and front ensemble sections were featured performers on Sunday afternoon, July 24 at the Texas Bandmasters Association opening sessions in San Antonio, TX during a clinic with Vanguard percussion composer and caption manager Paul Rennick.

The clinic outlined the SCV percussion program with regard to training, technique and individual musicianship. Rennick led the session and discussed ensemble skills relating to the percussion alone, but also as it related to brass and the overall music ensemble.
