BYBA National Championships Move 2011 Venue

The British Youth Band Association has announced that the National Championships will move venue for the 2011 season. While their 2010 Championships in Crewe was a success in terms of continuation due to the extreme weather conditions, it also proved that the smaller stand created a fantastic atmosphere.

One other reason for moving in 2011 was the current financial climate and ensuring that both the event could sustain itself financially and that supporters ticket prices could be brought to a more affordable basis. After investigating several possible venues that would be able to give all the facilities they need to run the Championships, as well as give an opportunity to make the event sustainable at a venue for future years, BYBA has announced that the 2011 BYBA National Championships will now be held at Keys Park Stadium, Keys Park Road, Cannock – Staffordshire.
