In The News: Oregon Crusaders Drum And Bugle Corps Take Silver

When the 114 members of the Oregon Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps left on July 21, 2011 headed for Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, their first stop in a 3-week national tour, they had no idea that they would return with such success. The team had spent a good part of the summer in intensive training to prepare for the Drum Corps International World Championships, a competition held in Indianapolis, Indiana. While they hoped that all of their hard work would pay off, they were filled with the nervous and excited energy that comes with venturing into the unknown.
