Dr. Todd Snead Named Spirit Of Atlanta Executive Director

Spirit of Atlanta is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Todd Snead to the position of Executive Director. Dr. Snead is beginning his fourth year with Spirit, having previously served as Corps Director (2011), as Brass Co-Caption Head (2010), and as a brass instructor (2009). Prior to his tenure at Spirit of Atlanta, Dr. Snead served as a brass instructor at Glassmen (2007) and Madison Scouts (2003-2006). Dr. Snead holds a Bachelor of Music (Education) from Texas Tech University, a Master of Music (Education) from Arizona State University, and a Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning from Georgia State University. Dr. Snead also studied at the Kodály Institute of Texas and the Conductor’s Workshop at the Brevard Music Center. “Dr. Snead was a driving force in leading the corps back into DCI Finals in 2011 and brings a vision and passion for the corps that will continue to move the organziation forward.” (Annette Love, Board President)
