Michael Tanzos of Nazareth will never forget the moment: Dressed head to toe in a white uniform, the trumpet player was moving quickly in an intricately choreographed performance as an “angel” in a battle between good and evil.
He and the 149 other members of the Cadets of Allentown were on the field performing “Between Angels and Demons” at the Drum Corps International World Championship in Indianapolis when — before they had even finished — the crowd of 15,000 was on its feet.
