In The News: Buccaneers Winners, Even In Loss
I was beginning to think the Reading Buccaneers Drum & Bugle Corps simply had forgotten how to lose.
Since a third-place finish in 2004, the Buccaneers had won every competition they entered – 64 straight – until coming in second on Sept. 3.
I’m not a big drum and bugle corps guy, except when I’m watching a parade and catch myself tapping out the beat with my foot on the curb.
