In The News: Sophomore Plays With Ensemble In Front Of United Nations

While many music students only have opportunities to perform at University concerts and recitals, one Towson student had the opportunity to play with an ensemble for President Barack Obama and 40 world leaders at the United Nations in New York City.

Sophomore Lara Miller, who plays tuba in The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps, a national touring ensemble of Youth Education in Arts, was one of the performers to play at the UN meeting Sept. 21.
