Wiles & Westman Join Bluecoats Design Team

The Bluecoats are proud to announce the addition of Daniel Wiles and Dean Westman to the corps’ design team. Wiles will serve as the Bluecoats’ Visual Coordinator and Designer and Westman will serve as the Music Coordinator.

Daniel Wiles has been instructing and designing for marching bands, color guards, and drum corps for over 20 years. For the last 11 years he has served as the Program Coordinator, Visual Coordinator and Guard Director for the Avon, Indiana High School Marching Band, the 2008, 2009 and 2010 BOA Grand National Champions. In addition, he is the director of the Avon High School Winter Guard, the 2009 WGI Scholastic World Champion. He also served as the Visual Coordinator for Carolina Crown from 2003 – 2008, the Troopers from 2008 – 2010, and is presently a member of the WGI Board of Directors. In his role as Visual Coordinator and Designer for the Bluecoats, Daniel will oversee the overall design of the visual program while also designing the drill.
