YEA Seeks Bookkeeper/Accountant

Youth Education in the Arts is seeking to hire a full-time bookkeeper/accountant to start immediately.

The successful applicant will manage full cycle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash disbursements, including billing. The bookkeeper/accountant assists with banking activities, including deposits and reconciliations.

The position also calls for assisting in preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for monthly general ledger close; assisting in the preparation and distribution of financial statements; assisting the finance manager with external audit examination; assisting with accounting-related reports and general ledger projects, and assisting with special projects assigned by management.
