2012 Connecticut Hurricanes Design Team/Open House

Newly named corps director, Doug Oravez, has excitedly announced the design team for the Connecticut Hurricanes for 2012. Jim Dugan returns as show/staff coordinator while Dennis Argul returns as brass arranger. Mike Schmidt once again will be the percussion arranger and Mike Wyatt will handle the front percussion ensemble arrangements. John Lemire will handle the color guard and Jamey Thompson returns once again to handle the visual design.

The Hurricanes will be holding their Open House on Sunday November 27, 2011 at Sacred Heart University at 5151 Park Avenue, Fairfield, Ct. 06825 from 10 to 5. All returning members as well as potential new members are strongly urged to attend. A $50.00 application fee will be needed at the time of signup. The corps annual awards banquet will held at the Continental Room, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck Ct. 06770 from 7-12 p.m. After another strong top five finish at DCA finals, the Connecticut Hurricanes are excited to start preparations for the 2012 campaign.
