7th Regiment Welcomes Maguire To 2012 Visual Staff

Mark began marching baritone in the East Coast Jazz in 2003 and marched through the 2005 Division II Championship Season, at which point he earned the title of “Most Valuable Brass Player.” Mark then marched The Cadets in 2006 and aged out there in 2007. Since then, he has taught Jersey Surf (2008-2009) and The Cadets (2010). Outside of drum corps, Mark instructed the King Philip Regional Marching Band (2005-2008) and marched in the Blessed Sacrament World Guard in 2010.

7th Regiment would like to thank Daniel Wyman for his service to the corps as Visual Caption Head 2008-2011. Dan has made the difficult decision to forego that role for the upcoming season due to his commitment to his Masters of Music degree in Conducting at the University of Central Missouri. Dan has been instrumental in the success of the corps and the design team since 2007, and he will continue to offer his creative and instructional input to the 2012 visual program at 7th.

Stephen Lyons will return in his role as Program Coordinator/Visual Designer for the 2012 season and is excited to begin working with Mark, alongside visual instructors Andrew Mastronunzio and Sean Corbett, who were key instructors throughout the corps’ 2011 season.

The 7th Regiment is extremely proud to announce that their Color Guard staff will remain entirely intact from the prior season, with Dana Lyons returning for her 7th year as Caption Head. Dana is excited to work once again with instructors Barbara Bauer, Fawn Margolis, and Dori Langton.

Stay tuned for an announcement regarding the music staff for the 7th Regiment’s 2012 season!
