In The News: Drummers Pay Tribute To Brother Martin Band Director

Drummers from around the country gathered at Brother Martin High School on Tuesday night to pay tribute to the school’s longtime band director, who died on Sept. 12 at age 65

Marty Hurley, a veteran music educator, directed the Brother Martin High School band for almost 40 years.

He also spent several years working with the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps, an organization of several dozen marching units that perform across the country every summer.
