The Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps is excited to announce its program design staff for the 2012 season. “This marks a new chapter in the history of the Mandarins program. We are pleased to assemble such a talented, energetic and collaborative design staff for the upcoming season” stated Ray Mar, 29-year veteran Executive Director for the Mandarins.

A cornerstone to the 2012 Mandarins design team is the addition of Key Poulan as Design Coordinator and Brass Arranger. In this role Key will be responsible for the total show design and integration of the visual and musical aspects of the show. He will also be writing the entire brass book. Key almost needs no introduction because of his outstanding success in both the drum corps and marching band worlds. His impact in the world of marching music is legendary and we are pleased to welcome his talents and collaborative attitude in arranging the brass book for 2012. While Key will have limited touring availability this summer due to family medical commitments, he will be actively involved in the design process. “I am very excited about expanding my role with the Mandarins. We are looking forward to creating something exciting and special for the 2012 season! “\
