Sodders To Head Up 2012 Teal Sound Brass Team

Teal Sound announced that Matthew ‘Bo’ Sodders will be the Brass Caption Head for the 2012 Season. Bo will work closely with Brass Arranger and Designer Robert W. Smith to put together a talented instructional staff and a top-notch Brass program. Bo is no stranger to the drum corps activity, having worked with the Sprit of Atlanta in recent years and a former marching member and drum major for the Glassmen from Toledo, Ohio.

Director Cary Byrd, states “We are so excited about Bo joining the Teal team for 2012. We believe he is a first-class educator that will generate excitement for the Brass program and someone who will undoubtedly have an impact on the continued success of this drum corps!”

“I am honored to become a part of Teal Sound with such a talented group of designers and instructors,” said Sodders. I look forward to establishing a strong brass pedagogy and leadership program within the Teal Sound Horn line with such a talented and veteran drum corps staff.”

Further announcements regarding Brass Staff will be released in the coming weeks all leading up to the Teal Sound Drum Corps ‘Experience’ Camp scheduled for November 26-27 in Jacksonville, Florida.
