2012 Cadets2 Camp #1 Saturday Report

| |

The first day of Cadets2 rehearsals went well into the evening as over 100 young men and women assembled at Upper Darby High School in Drexel Hill, Penn for a day of playing, movement and most importantly, learning from some of the best instructional staff anywhere; many with ties either teaching or marching in the 10-time World Champion Cadets.

While the students were in rehearsal blocks, the creative team met to discuss plans for the inaugural program choices for the corps to bring to the field in the summer of 2012. Eric Kitchenman corps director said, “We’re exploring many different avenues for the program in 2012. Needless to say, there is a vast pool of literature to draw from, yet we want to be respectful of the tradition already established by The Cadets. We will be meeting over the coming weeks to make final decisions, probably in time for the next camp in December.” Watch for any deails or announcements on the 2012 program at the Cadets2 site at www.yea.org/cadets2 or on the official Facebook page www.facebook.com/cadets2.
