Atlanta CV is proud to announce that Michael Martin and Matthew Manturuk have joined the CV Creative and Design team for the 2012 season. Mr. Martin will serve as the brass arranger and Mr. Manturuk as the front ensemble arranger this season.

Michael’s drum corps career literally began the day he was born, DCI finals week in 1985, as his father’s (legendary brass instructor Freddy Martin) drum corps (Spirit of Atlanta) anxiously awaited the news of his birth. He went on to march two seasons with Spirit and one season with the Phantom Regiment before focusing on his orchestral trumpet playing in order to pursue his career as a performer. The youngest and most recent addition to the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Pops, Michael studied at Northwestern University where he received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in trumpet performance studying with Barbara Butler and Charles Geyer.
