In The News: Senior Drum And Bugle Corps Reunion Concert

Drum and Bugle Corps defined post World War II America. Riding the strong wave that followed the return home of a generation of veterans, the music was patriotic – loyal to America and to one’s Corps – and it was loud. That volume, together with the large number of members and the fabulous uniforms, brought tears to the eyes of American citizens who had lost loved ones or were so proud of those who returned.

Today, the children and grandchildren of those original members have revived the corps, and America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration draws the best of the best each year for the Senior Drum and Bugle Corps Reunion Concert, held the weekend before Thanksgiving.
