Vaudevillian theatre, H.G. Wells, Jules Verne, the spirit of silent movies and the ingenuity and thrill of a world’s fair — oh, and 11th Ohio Cavalry uniforms and a sound as big as the wide open Wyoming spaces from which they hail.
Welcome to the 2012 Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps competitive show, “This Was the Future,” borrowed loosely from the “steampunk” genre and the music of American composer Aaron Copland.
