Windy City Legion 2012 Open House

The “Windy City Legion”, Chicago’s Premiere All-Age Drum & Bugle Corps will host an “Open House” Event on Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 12 Noon – 5:00 PM. The Open House will be held at: Northside College Prep High School – 5501 N Kedzie Ave. in Chicago, IL.

This will be an excellent opportunity to find out what the Windy City Legion has to offer and meet the entire Staff and Administration.

The Corps plans to focus primarily on DCA shows, as well as local area performances and parades for their inaugural 2012 Season. In addition, the Corps plans to expand out into DCI Shows in their second year, 2013. Although there is no age restriction to be a member of the Windy City Legion, we do ask that anyone below the age of 17 yrs, have the written approval of a parent or legal guardian to participate in the corps. Membership is open to all those in the greater Chicago area, as well as all other regions.

The main goals of the Windy City Legion are to foster and promote excellence in the musical sport of drum & bugle corps, as well as develop and maintain a strong comradarie within the corps. In addition, the corps will work to foster and promote a healthy sense of self-esteem and independence, which will greatly improve the lives of all those who are involved in our organization, as well as the lives of all they touch in the future.

With that being said, the Corps has put together a fantastic staff to help instill all the above mentioned qualities in all those who choose to join us! The Board/Admin/Staff of the Windy City Legion is as follows:
