2012 Music City Drum Major Auditions Jan 13

| |

A huge turnout at Music City’s December audition camp ensures that the Nashville corps will once again field a full-size corps in 2012. Family and friends were treated to demonstration performances at the conclusion of the camp. Each of the four battery lines performed as did the 79 horns in attendance. The color guard performed a group dance number as well as rifle, sabre and flag demonstrations.

Music City is seeking drum major applicants to participate in its drum major auditions to be held at the upcoming camp on January 13-15. Anyone with drum major experience is welcome to audition. The corps will be selecting a new team of drum majors for 2012.

There are only a few openings left in the corps. Anyone interested in marching in Music City is encouraged to submit a membership application on the corps’ website at www.MusicCityDrumCorps.org. You will be contacted to discuss the possibility of becoming a member. Drum major prospects should also submit an application in order to learn the details of the upcoming auditions.
