They once rubbed shoulders with Prime Minister John Diefenbaker and performed for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. They were among the best in Ontario, placing in the top three at drums corps competitions.

The buglers who made up the Sarnia Lionettes, however, weren’t a band of seasoned musicians. They were a group of Sarnia girls with a love of music.
