Velvet Knights Announce 2012 Staff

VK Drum & Bugle Corps announced today their staff for the 2012 season. “Every year we strive to provide our members with the best experience we can throughout the summer. I am excited to have a staff of educators and mentors who have a passion to teach and a sincere desire to make our members’ better musicians and performers,” said Mayra Iraheta, Corps Director for VK.

On the Music staff, Frank Rico returns in the role of Brass Caption Head and is assisted by Ray Vizcarra, Mike Espinosa and Christian Betanzos. On the Percussion staff, Ernie McLaurin returns and Alex Herrera joins the team as they share the Caption Head position; Dave Becker and Wesley Hernandez will be assisting them. For the Colorguard, Randy Badillo returns as Caption Head and is assisted by Aldo Trevino and Larry Gasparro. VK’s Visual staff will be lead by Caption Head, Troy Campbell and assisted by Aron Campbell, David Lemus, Daniel Garcia, and Steve Moreno.
