2012 Cavaliers January Call-Back Camp Report

During the first full weekend of 2012, students from both near and far assembled in Rosemont, Ill., for The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps’ January Call-Back Camp for Brass and Percussion. Set in surprisingly mild weather for January in the Midwest, the corps used this three-day camp (Jan 6-8) to continue evaluating prospective and returning members after two successful Clinic/Audition Camps in Chicago and Austin, Texas.

“The weekend in Rosemont gave our brass and percussion hopefuls an opportunity to demonstrate all the hard work they’ve put in since we saw them last in 2011,” said Corps Director Adolph DeGrauwe. “This is also a chance for us as an organization to share how we approach everything from rehearsal structure and technique to corps meetings and meals.”
