In The News: Taking His Tuba To The Top
When Angel Nazario was a seventh-grader at La Mesa Junior High School, he never realized how far his love of music would take him.
Like so many other students, he signed up for band class as a way to get his first taste of instruments and music.
“It just seemed like fun and something I could get into,” the 19-year-old from Canyon Country said of his first try with the tuba. “I never thought it would last this long.”
